The Little Fish Collection
My biggest problem is that sometimes I run on 100% vibes and because of that I can reset, restart, or relaunch without any hesitation. It’s frustrating because it’s led to many false starts and abandoned ideas. Following me online has been a nightmare because I’ve renamed my work countless times and deleted entire portfolios with out notice or any sort of heads up.
It could be the adhd, it could be something else. Perhaps, I need lots of therapy. Whatever it is, I know it’s not okay but sometimes I just can’t help it. If things are not going a certain way it’s difficult for me to just sit there and be okay with it. I tend to overact at times and well here we are.
I feel like the little fish here. Unable to really build but too afraid to step outside for a few seconds. When I created the first animation in this collection I was struggling with my mental health and contemplating quitting art together. I felt like if I died tomorrow, no one would really even know unless my wife told them so why even bother? I don’t feel that way now but I felt like that for a very long time. Perhaps while I was working on all of these various projects.
I’ve been animating for some time, but I don’t have much of a following and I don’t have really much to show for it so I decided to put all of the older animations together because they all feel like little fish projects.
I refuse to give up though. So as long as I can have fun creating new art, I will continue regardless if I have fans or not. It just is what it is, the journey continues.
