I’ve reached a point in my life where subsequently I rarely update profile pictures (pfp) and almost never share family photos online.

I don’t have strong opinions for the people who enjoy that sort of thing. It’s just something I only like to do on rare occasion, which is apparently today. For my new pfp I wanted to capture this moment in my life so I tried to express the manic energy and general uneasiness that I feel on a daily basis. If you’re nuerodivergent, perhaps you can relate or maybe not. Everyone is different.

Even in deep sorrow, I’ve learned to laugh and appreciate life’s infinite nuances. I love to share good vibes, but I also hate pretending that everything is copacetic when clearly that’s a false reality.

With all that said, there has always been one meme that has always resonated with me over the years. As an elder millennial, I collect memes like a Pokémon master trainer, so I guess this would be in my active party along with Pikachu, Squirtle, and Charizard.

In my quest to be as authentic as possible, I chose to do this because it was actually very fun to do. I didn’t trace over it and I didn’t try to recreate it completely because that wouldn’t be very cool or fun.
